Incorporating Neurobiology, Ego State Therapy & Therapeutic Touch

Hopeful, healthy, and satisfying outcomes are not as elusive as one may imagine when treating early trauma, attachment ruptures, and chronic shame wounding. Understanding these terrains and having highly effective approaches for navigating them are crucial game-changers in the level of professional inspiration you feel and the positive, life changing shifts your clients are able to experience. In this 3-day summer sampler, taught by three cutting edge trainers, discover the crucial difference key paradigm shifts, experiential learning, and newfound clinical focus can make, and experience the rewards in the lives you touch. This is a somatic cross-disciplinary training combining both touch and non-touch approaches, as well as experiential exercises.

In this class you will:

  • Learn to work more effectively with the neurophysiology associated with early trauma.
  • Learn how to work with conflict-free states to build an inner platform for success.
  • Engage ego states to help achieve regulation and cooperation.
  • Discover how Ego States interface with polyvagal theory to deepen repair and facilitate self integration.
  • Explore how early trauma can couple with shame.
  • Explore the dynamics between early trauma, attachment and shame wounding.
  • Discover the qualities that allow a professional to remain present without joining in the client’s shame.
  • Understand common pitfalls when working with shame to make the process more effective and rewarding.
